EXPLORE: Road Trip 2017 – Indianapolis Motor Speedway

We’d already seen friends in New York, natural beauty in Canada, and music memorabilia in Cleveland. The next logical stop for Summer Road Trip 2017? Indianapolis! I love cars, racing, and I’ve even worked for a clothing producer that worked closely with IMS and Indy 500 so I just HAD to stop at the track and kiss the bricks!

Our main goal in Indianapolis was to see the track and museum. We decided to do the “Kiss the Bricks Tour” where we would get to ride on the track and stop at the finish line to perform the tradition of kissing the bricks!

After the tour, we went inside to scope out the museum. We got to see the trophy, cars, memorabilia, and more.

Pit Stop… BBQ for Lunch!

After a full morning at IMS, we were in desperate need of some food. Being away from Texas for awhile, we decided we needed to try some BBQ. Needless to say, we were disappointed.

After lunch, we had to hit the road again. After our day in Indianapolis, it was time to head to our next stop: St. Louis!

NEXT STOP: History, beer, and the best Sushi I’ve ever had!

I had such an amazing time in Indianapolis! I’m so glad we stopped to check it out.
